Frequently asked questions.

Are pets allowed at the event?

Unfortunately, we can’t have pets in the event area as it presents a risk given the bonfire and fire pits around the grounds.

Can I BYO food and drinks?

This event is licensed so attendees are not allowed to bring their own alcohol. Additionally, the grounds are a glass-free zone, so please be mindful of that when you attend.

Is there an ATM on the grounds?

No, however there is an ATM just down the St at Warwick Credit Union and cash-out facilities are available at the Killarney Coop. Vendors will be taking a mix of card and cash on the night.

Is there assigned seating?

No, you’re free to wander around the grounds and check out the fire drums in any area.

Is there seating available?

There is some seating available in the grandstands on the grounds, however, we recommend bringing camp chairs or picnic rugs if you want to grab a spot closer to the fire.

Is it cold? What should we wear?

Killarney is at approximately 500m above sea level and in the coldest region of Queensland, so we expect it to be below 10 degrees celsius and potentially closer to 0 degrees. We recommend rugging up for the night, locals tend to have thermals, beanies, scarves and a warm jacket for Killarney’s nights and cool mornings as well as a good pair of boots.
