Killarney’s Bonfire Night started in 2010, as part of a community effort to fundraise for the local aged care home, Killarney Memorial.
As the event has grown, over the last decade it has expanded and now raises funds for key community groups; Killarney Memorial Aged Care, Killarney Heritage Centre, Killarney Show and Rodeo Society and the Killarney Recreation Club. The event is run purely by volunteers, with locals pitching in to welcome visitors, organise the campgrounds and stock the bars, so come along and enjoy a night of fire, food and country hospitality while supporting our little town.
